Student computer labs are located on the main, Delaware and Harrisburg campuses. On the main campuses the labs are located in Room 22 of the University Center and on the ground floor of Wolfgram Memorial Library. On the Delaware Campus, the lab is located in the main classroom building, lower level. On the Harrisburg Campus, the lab is located on the first floor of the classroom building. General computing labs and classrooms on the main campus offer in excess of three hundred systems for student use.
The general computing labs and classrooms operate in a Windows XP Pro environment. Lab systems run Microsoft Office XP, provide internet/email access as well as offer over seventy course specific applications. Student Computing employs students to provide support to users in the general computing labs. The two general computing labs in University Center and Wolfgram Memorial Library were upgraded in the summer of 2003. Both labs have 45 systems and below is the current configuration:

Resident students of Widener University have the ability to connect to the University’s network in their residence halls. Students who own computers that meet the minimum configuration requirements and who wish to connect to the network can purchase a network kit at the Widener University Bookstore located in the University Center. The network connection allows students to have access to e-mail, library resources (including all book holdings and many electronic databases), FTP capabilities, and unlimited access to the Internet and World-Wide-Web.
