The Upsilon Kappa Chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha was established on the Widener campus during the 1994-1995 academic year. The purpose of Pi Sigma Alpha is to function as an integral part of the Government and Politics Department in the promotion of scholarship and student interest in the world of politics and public affairs. 
The faculty advisor is Professor James Vike, associate professor of government and politics.
